Where to Meet Your Taxi at O’Hare: A Terminal-by-Terminal Pickup Guide

O’Hare is one of the busiest airports in the world, and the arrivals curb can feel like it. The good news: when you book a flat rate taxi in advance, the meet-up is the easiest part of your trip. Here is how it works at each terminal.

Before you land: book with your flight number

When you reserve your ride, give us your airline and flight number. Your driver tracks the flight, so an early landing or a two-hour delay changes nothing for you. The flat rate for your suburb stays the same either way, with no waiting charges piling up.

Terminals 1, 2 and 3 (domestic)

After you collect your bags, head out the doors on the lower arrivals level. Your driver will coordinate the exact door with you by call or text. Stay near the door you agreed on, keep your phone handy, and the car comes to you. It usually takes just a few minutes from curb to Kennedy.

Terminal 5 (international arrivals)

International pickups allow extra time for customs and immigration, and your driver knows that. Once you clear customs and reach the public arrivals hall, send a quick text. Terminal 5 has its own arrivals curb, and your driver will tell you which door to use.

If plans change

Missed connection? Gate change? Just call or text (224) 622-7653. Dispatch adjusts the pickup, and because every ride is booked in advance, there is always a plan rather than a scramble.

What the ride home costs

Every suburb has a published flat rate from O’Hare. Naperville is $78, Schaumburg is $48, Arlington Heights is $48. Find your town on the fare rate list or the O’Hare airport taxi page, and the price you see is the price you pay. Tolls are additional, and a $10 to $15 surcharge applies between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
